Host Club?

Hey, juz a quick post b4 going to bed, hehe

I was lookin for something to watch on DramaCrazy (yeah2, you know this uber famous website) and stumbled upon this interesting documentary,, it's called The Great Happiness Space: Tale of an Osaka Love Thief (2006) .. that's the real title, but on the webpage, it's written as 'Delete Me', idk why~

Soooo... basically the story is about urmm.. it's about... urm.. *uhuk male prostitute *uhuk.. yeah~ it's about 'Host Boys' in Japan... boys working in a club, serving drinks to girls~


This is a 'clean' movie, (no explicit contents at all, mind you) and it's not about giving tips on how to get girls or anything ...but it focus on how's life in big city like Tokyo really is. People have to do anything to get money, cuz in this world, money can buy anything, including love (The women work hard to get money just to go to this host club, cuz it's the only place where they can find temporary love, though it isn't a real one) I find it really depressing... and feels bad for some people in this story.







Then, a thought came crossing my mind.
Some of the boys working in the Host Club looks so attractive (well, they have too~ for their job)
and we can actually pay them to hang out with us!
idk, the idea seems to be .. ummm.. well, it seems to be.. tempting.. well, I mean..errr.. I didn't mean anything.. lol...urmm.. juz forget it.

Real-life doll???

Yikes! For a second, I must say I was burning with jealousy when I first saw this picture-perfect girl. How can someone be soo lucky!! ~urghh >_<

She looks like a real life doll, with super-cute face and super-slim figure. I really thought she's Caucasian or half Asian at first -cuz Asian don't have that nose!-, but turns out she's a full Chinese girl (eh??)

I started to dig out more info on this girl (and yes, this is absolutely time-wasting activity but I'm just a curious-cat~ meow!) and found out that this girl is just your everyday school girl living in China. She posted pictures of herself in a social website and suddenly became an overnight internet sensation. It is said that many Koreans wanted to befriends her after seeing her pictures (and I wonder why... =_=).

But soon people began to question her 'perfectly-perfect' looks and many accused her purposely faking the photos.

OMG, you can totally tell whether the photos are fake or real, of course it's fake!
it is obviously Photoshopped!

For one sec, I thought the face is real but if you stare for 5 to 60 seconds- you can tell her face doesn't match well with the body. Her face is too small, eyes too big, no facial lines whatsoever and not even trace of shadows on her face, it's just unnaturally flawless (specially the last pic).

And she has already ADMIT this herself, it's all the wonder of Photoshop.This is her without too much Photoshop;

It's said that many guys were heart-broken after knowing that the doll girl doesn't really exist.
You poor boys~ What can you expect? Only Yuna from Final Fantasy can look that perfect, and HELLO, it's called 'FANTASY' for a reason! =P

My little theory on Marriage ~(o_O)~

When two or more girls get together, the subject of 'marriage' will pop out no matter how pointless it seems to discuss about it, since neither of us are getting married -at the moment- or even have a steady boyfriend.


I always try my best to avoid talking about marriage when I'm hanging out with my girl-friends, cuz I hate it when girls always talk about boys, love and all that dreamy-dreamy stuff while boys generally talk about football, video games and what's the latest gadget in town~

- it just make boys look so cool and girls look so laaame... =_= it's not fair!


BUt I'll make an exception today,
cuz I wanna talk about my theory on teenagers and marriage..
(yeah, it sounds BIG but actually... not really)


Based on my observation (lol), I think how teens react to marriage is greatly influence by their parents marriage. (dang, this is my thesis statement, haha)


I mean, youngsters who are so eager to get married usually have parents who were married in early age and have a happy and great relationship. While those who are a bit hesitate to get married probably comes from a problematic family.

Do I make any sense? Do you agree with me?

I can relate this theory to people around me, remember my Netherlands friend who were born through sperm donation? She told me that she keeps seeing potential in boys whenever she looks at them (Ex: Can this boy be a good husband? Can he be a good father?) These questions keeps playing in her mind causing her to fear the idea of getting married to someone. She can't seems to understand how two people can love each other that they can spend their rest of life together. Well, considering her background, I can understand why she thinks that way. Her father doesn't live with her so she can't imagine how boys can be a good father once they're married.

Annnd I have lots of friends whose parents got married early and have a happy life together and this has cause their children to plan on getting married at younger age as well. They have seen how everything work out fine for their parents and automatically believe that everything will turn out fine for them too.So, that's why they are too excited to get married.

BUT (!) careful, just because your parents have a great marriage it doesn't guarantee that you will have that perfect happy marriage too,, and if your parents had had a broken marriage, it doesn't mean that yours will be a bad one too.. everything has been planned by God and He knows what's best for us, rite?

 (of course, this is not 100% correct and lots of other factors count too...)

Well,,, guess that's all for my not so 'awesome' theory!

Sperm Bank.

I don't like babies. No, I like babies, but babies hate me, lol. Sometimes I get annoyed when people (especially girls) get all freak out when they see a cute baby. What's the big deal?? Everyone is cute when they're babies. But although I'm evil and I look like I like to eat babies but I still want to have kids to look after me, and give me money when I'm old. Quite a selfish thought, but it's partly true..hehe.


I have a friend in Netherlands and we always talk through emails. I told her that I want to have children (in the future) but don't think that I want to have husband. I was really joking, I didn't mean that, obviously. 

Then she told me it's possible 0-o. She herself was made that way. She told me that her mother wanted a child but did not want to get married, so she asked her male friend to donate sperm and after some process in the hospital, her mother got pregnant and give birth to her. Sometimes she feels sad that she doesn't have a 'normal' family, but at least she knows that her mom really wants her and is willing to go to that length to have her.

I told her that it's not weird or wrong at all for people to do that. p/s: I have to take care her feelings. Love have no boundaries. Technically, the man is still her father and at least she got to see him once in a while and know him. It's better than having a random donor as your father. But, still, I think it might be a little awkward 0_0~

Well, I know the right way for us, Muslim, is to go for adoption instead of to the sperm bank and withdraw some sperms. Imagine if..let's say, 20 couples went to the bank and get the same sperms (from one man), so wouldn't it be that all the babies born will be half sisters and half brothers?? But childless couple in foreign countries wouldn't mind using this method as long as they can have their own babies.

Well, some people need to pay a very high price to get children and we know that a child is God's precious gift to us.... So..yeah. I really don't know any nice or perfect words to wrap up this entry.. this is pretty random =_='

Manga, Manga, Manga!

Why do mangas sold in UK are very very expensive?

it's like £8 pound per book,
and in Malaysia, it's usually RM8 per book.

but £8 is like RM40? so I can buy 5 mangas in Malaysia with that amount of money.

But then again, it's still so very expensive.

I mean who needs to buy manga these days?

You can download or read them online.

Or you can even watch the animated version.
So, why do people still buy manga/comic although they're very expensive?

Simple, because collecting something you like is soooo cool and fun.

I don't really know much about manga but

I do remember some mangas that I used to have when I was little.

Some reallly old titles like:

Doraemon

OMG, if you donno Doraemon, then you're not from this earth, lol!
Me and my sisters used to have a complete series of Doraemon, which we read more than 100 times. Whoever made this comic is a genius, this is the only comic in the galaxy that made me cry, lol.


Dragon Ball

Unfortunately never bought this manga, just borrowed from the boys in my class.
The best of the best! I wish today's anime is just as good as this one =(

I remember the character's name, Arale, but I couldn't remember the title.
But I remember reading this book when I was a child.

Hong Kong comic book

Remember the big comic with cheesy title? They're actually Hong Kong comic books.
They're pretty popular in Malaysia back then,
I never own them. But just putting them here to bring back memories.. =)

Old cartoons, old comics, old animes are just soo good. T-T

Modern mangas/ animes are nice too, but

I just don't really like the 

complicated, sophisticated, super twisted storyline-

but yeah, just like handphones,

It always started with the lead role hating each other and they will always keep bumping into each other then fight fight fight and then one day they fall in love.

The main girl likes the side character who is always so much nicer and better looking but ALWAYS ended up with the main guy who treated her like rubbish at first.

Theres always gonna be a dirt rich character and a dirt poor character, then they'll fall in love.

Car crash between the two main character, whoever the poor one is likely to get contracted to a love contract or slave and then, they'll fall in love.

The girl just stand right in the middle of the street and know that she is about to get hit buy a truck/car but then a boy save her and they'll fall in love.

Someone will always die or fall seriously ill by the end of the series.

Everyone has cancer.

The guy will always order orange juice or coffee at a cafe while waiting for his girlfriend. And he never drink it. EVER.

There is a super quick payment device that allows people to pay a bill quickly enough for a guy to run immediately out of a restaurant after his angry girlfriend storms out.

The guy is ALWAYS so stupid and likes to irritate the girl although he actually loves her. Only start confessing when there's 2,3 more episodes left.

Never seen a korean drama with no food in it..they HAVE TO eat... and the amount they eat is like.... TOO MUCH!! despite how thin they are ...(especially the girls coz they eat the most in dramas).

The main guy must at one point leave and have his lover tearfully come RIGHT before he board the plane (vice versa applies as well. he can be the chaser). 60% of the time they see each other, the other 40% they're roaming around in circles and pass each other about six times, but miraculously never see each other.

The main girl and guy ALWAYS get stuck in the same elevator, regardless how many elevators they have in that place.

The supposedly "ugly" or "plain" female lead (who is usually poor) is actually a beautiful girl. Hullooooo we're not blind.

If the main girl/guy is mad at each other, they alway go brush their teeth.

When they get mad they just do that 'hiss' thing with their mouths...

When they get mad (again) they do those facial and mouth expressions, with like "araso?!" after it, then making a fist and the guy (which is usually) just tries to block it and act scared...

The guy and girl walking together, the girl stumbles and about to fall, the guy grabs her by his arm and swing her back, and it will ALWAYS cause an accidental kiss. Then, they'll fall in love.
 
They like to drink, drink and drink till they get really drunk, walking while vomit everywhere in streets. And the guy will give piggy-ride to the drunk girl, then they'll fall in love.

Just a while ago, my room was burning hot- then I saw a bright light flashing outside my window- then I heard my first thunderstorm ever in UK- then, it started to rain- and I feel cold again-yay!

Hi, today is Friday. It's 10.26 pm now in UK. I'm waiting for Isyak prayer time which is... 10.57 pm. It's soo late..I know.. I'm about to fall asleep anytime.. though I've been sleeping for more than 12 hours yesterday..haha. Old people like me need a lot of sleepzzzzzzz.....

Why? Because they're copycats? Could have juz asked them nicely to change their style a lil bit.

I read on some random blog, the owner is obviously a - Malaysian Kpop fan.
Talking about 24:7, Gula Gula and few others..
Don't know why she's so emo about this whole thing...marah bebeno gayanya.
What makes me a bit sad.. a bit la.. not really~ is that she said KRU is also such a copycat.
Hai.. KRU pon kena jugak ke? lol
